Battling Weather, Battling Ignorance

SC&A are fighting the good fight, battling 'that thing that is going around.'

In the interim, there is a must read post by Ali Eteraz, Jews as Apres and Swine in the Quran. Eteraz offers a look at how the misapplication of religious texts, morals and values has come to infect an entire culture (not unlike the era of the Spanish Inquisition, where unspeakable horrors were comimitted in the name of Christ).

Eteraz confronts the issue and in fact, does not contain his revulsion at what has become an integral part of much of the Muslim cuture. It is also clear his struggle against the misapplication of religious texts is shared by many Muslims. His post is important because he is in fact, addressing more than a single issue. He is addressing morality and integrity as well.
