The Republicans may have lost control of the House and Senate, but to hear the Dems tell it, they won a ‘mandate’ (Apparently, ‘mandates’ are only won by Democrats. No word on what 12 year Republican control of the House and Senate are called).

In any event, reading the COTI is essential reading for incoming members of both parties, especuially members of the victorious Dems and their supporters.

If Glenn Greenwald took some time to read the Carnival Of The Insanities, he might reconsider obsessing about referring to the President as a liar.

If Jane Hamsher read COTI she might be able to pass herself off as someone not needing residential treatment. In fact, the adviser and ‘political analyst’ for Ned Lamont, may even be able to con another rich schmuck into paying her and funding yet another losing election.

In an election postmortem, Jane noted that she cherished ‘every minute fighting that pig, Joe Lieberman,’ and that even though her candidate Ned Lamont, the poster boy of the lunatic left lost, she took credit for designing the electoral gains of the Dems.

That’s like taking the credit for the successful design of a whole fleet of ships, even though the flagship sank and the design proved to be faulty. “Sure, the Titanic sank, but didn’t you love the staircase and the way we decorated?”
