Ever predicatably, Glenn Greenwald proves once more that touching oneself causes a kind of mental paralysis. In Prominent Right Wing Blogger Call For Murder Of State Department Official, Greenwald writes that he is upset that Pam Atlas of Atlas Shrugged, made a remark to the effect of wanting to blow up the State Department if they were to recognize Hamas.

While Greenwald is predictably (and hysterically) outraged, his emotions are of the crocodile variety.

Greenwald had nothing of substance to say when legions of leftists and leftist bloggers advocated the murder George Bush. Greenwald had no discernible comment when DU commentors, Kos blog writers and others of the same ilk proposed that killing the President was a good and patriotic thing to do.

Of course, Greenwald says he isn’t saying Atlas doesn’t have the right to her opinions. He just takes a dim view of her remarks. Too bad he wasn’t as caring, concerned or outraged when the threats against George Bush were de riguer in the left wing blogosphere.

Then again, that would imply that Greenwald was actually considered a credible voice by anyone other than the leftist GED crowd.
