Cancer Of The Left

When cancer infects a healthy organism, that organism begins to break down. It is a predictably efficient disease and that never varies in it’s behavior. Once diagnosed, cancer cells devour healthy cells in a most efficient and relentless manner, until there are no more cells left to consume.

Without radical intervention, the organism dies.

The same thing happens when dysfunctional values are allowed to infect a healthy society. Sooner or later, without radical intervention, thats society will pay the terrible, ultimate price. The attempt by MoveOn.org to savage General Petraeus and the accompanying silence by Democratic politicians is look at leftist morality.

Dr Sanity’s, Who Would Have Believed It, is short but succinct look at the cost of dysfunction.

First, she states the obvious:

Slowly and almost imperceptibly, the liberal left has morphed into the lunatic left. They have abandoned most of the liberal legacy that gave them emotional consistency and moral clarity; and instead, they have embraced positions that would have been completely inconceivable to imagine just a few short years ago…

It is this philosophy, slowly absorbed, that is responsible for the left abandoning any pretense at traditional liberalism, which used to champion the rights of the individual over the state. And it is the illogical and irrational tenets of postmodern philosophy that are at the heart of the moral and intellectual rot that has poisoned the liberal left and allowed its lunatic fringe undisputed center stage. Is it any wonder that they are not only comfortable with, but consciously (the leadership) and unconsciously appease and enable Islamic totalitarianism?

These tenets have been slowly, but relentlessly absorbed at all levels of Western culture in the last decade or so–but primarily since the end of the Cold War…

Clearly, we have managed to insult some of the most dysfunctional, racist and bigoted creatures on the face of the earth. Instead of being proud of our morality and taking a stand, we are apologizing for free speech and for the right to defend ourselves. What must the average Arabs think when he or she see us, looking to appease the very regimes that have oppressed them for generations?

The successful treatment of cancer is an aggressive treatment. There can no ambiguity and there can be no hesitation in attacking the disease if the cancer is to be defeated. Tumors are excised from the body and at times, even healthy tissue is removed.

What must average Arabs think when they see our own hesitation and ambiguity in our relations with the regimes that oppress them?

Cancers and healthy cells cannot live side by side in harmony. It just doesn’t work that way. The same is true in our relations with dysfunctional Arab regimes. We either commit to the removal of those regimes, to be replaced with healthy, free and democratic regimes or the Arab populations will continue to be eaten from the inside by the insidious cancer that is tyranny and dysfunction.

Cancer cells don’t like healthy cells. Their attack on healthy cells is relentless.

Tony Blair went to Lebanon and was abused by many Lebanese, including Hassan Nasrallah, because he is perceived to have supported the Israel, aligning Britain with a democracy as opposed to the racist and bigoted Arab regimes and terror organizations.

In fact, there could be no greater testament to the morality of Mr Blair, than being despised by the bigoted and racist likes of Hassan Nasrallah and other Lebanese and Arab politicians.

If the Lebanese and the Arab world were so moral and righteous, why is Al Manar, the Hizbollah TV network allowed and encouraged to broadcast racism and bigotry?

If the Lebanese and Arab world were so moral and righteous, where were the condemnations of Hassan Nasrallah’s racism and bigotry? He once noted, with great satisfaction, that he was glad the Jews came to Israel- ‘It saves us the trouble of rounding them up.’

That George Bush, Tony Blair and Israel are so excoriated by the likes of these racists, bigots and dysfunctionals, is a testament to their credibility and their morality. It is also a hard and real testament of hard proof of the moral bankruptcy of a society and culture that sees fit to deride representatives of free nations rather than the tyranny of bigots. It is also a testament to how abused Arabs are in their own environment.

That the left has so much cancerous hate that they would support the likes of these bigots, speaks volumes about the left. They cannot see what they have become, as they parrot and embrace the words and ideas of some of the world’s great bigots, racists and failures. They are like pigs rolling in filth- unaware of the stench of their surroundings. That filth, hate have become home. The dysfunctions are so profound that the left can no longer distinguish reality from delusion.

The left have rendered themselves irrelevant in a moral world- and that is why they so desperately need to change moral America into immoral America, in the same way much of Europe abandoned it’s morality for something far less substantive. It is interesting to note how much of Europe is beginning to awaken, abandoning the leftist ideologies that almost drowned them.

You can’t make moral choices if you live in a world of delusion.

In a post, Thou Shalt Not Murder, Especially Souls, Gagdad Bob offers up some real insight. He looks at the cancers and those who refuse to acknowledge the death sentence cancer imposes.

Most soul murders are undoubtedly committed by those who are already so spiritually damaged as to be functionally dead. These undead souls such as a Nasrallah, an Arafat, or an Amahdinejad, speak to us from “the other side,” from the shadow world that is created when the soul has been so damaged that it essentially exits the body, leaving only a human animal in its place. But other demonic energies rush in to fill the void, so that the individual becomes a sort of “antihuman.” At their core, they are filled with unbearable envy toward the living, and the only way they can assuage this envy is to kill and kill plentifully. Life is a reminder of their own walking death, hence, “death to Israel,” that primordial symbol of life: l’chaim.

The undead also cannot help converting their children to their way of non-being. In ways both subtle and profound, they will interact with their children in a pathological manner, causing the children to internalize the same virus that afflicts their parents. Regardless, the virus always goes by the name of “love,” which simply further confuses the child. In the end, they will not be able to distinguish the difference between love and hate or truth and lies, any more than they can distinguish between life and death.

The mantra of the left has become ‘No to cancer! No to radiation!’

The left cannot claim any kind of morality if they are consumed by hate and refuse to allow the cancer of tyranny, oppression and dysfunction to be excised. When leftists call for and demand deceit, mayhem and destruction in the name of morality, they only exhibit their own moral emptiness.

We once noted of the left

They are caught in a vortex of denial they have created for themselves and they have painted themselves into a corner, from which most are unlikely to emerge. They cannot concede the truth that is readily apparent to everyone- in attempting to define and distinguish themselves, they rejected the values of life and embraced the values of death.

Hate is always accompanied by hubris- and that is always preceded by cancerous narcissism that harbors bigotry and tolerates no dissent.

A look at the regimes and leaders embraced by the left will confirm that.
