    I often disagreed with Russert’s “gotcha” technique of interviewing and I always thought he tilted slightly to the left. However, I knew he at least tried to be fair and balanced.

    No one who had seen him do other things than Meet the Press, could doubt that he was a man with a zest for life and a deep love of family and country.

    That the left felt he was a trtaitor because he tried to be fair, is just more proof of their desire to silence all dissent to their point of view. They are bullies and thugs and free speech will always be in danger as long as they persist in their attempts to silence others.
