Mr. Karzai owes the families of the soldiers who died an apology. If President Obama can apologize for something that was done to properly respect Islamic culture, Mr. Karzai can apologize for not maintaining sufficient discipline among his police officers.
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for it, though.
